Ordered chips to take out, £3.50 each for a big portion. Great value! Very crispy chips, lovely and well cooked. The top came off the salt shaker and covered one portion and the staff offered to replace them unprompted. The lady on the counter was lovely, as was the food. Great service at a great price. WAY Better than Colemans!! Plus where else aside from South Shields would you get to play the game of dodging rabid seagulls while you eat, it’s a sport! Will 100% use The Blue Marlin from now on when we are in the area.

Nothing beats Fish and chips by the coast on a day like this🌞. Didn't disappoint. Amazing Fish and Chips. Ordered the half Fish for me and the hubby each and we were still stuffed. Very generous portions. Staff were really friendly ✨️

A great stop, just what was needed at the time. Adults fish and chips meal with kids fish and chips meal was really nice and was a good size (one kids meal was enough for 2 kids) - £19 all together with a couple of drinks. Staff were lovely aswell, couldn't of asked for more!

Yet again delicious chips and the warmest of welcomes from Susie who remembered us from last time and came over to say hello. Can't stress how important that is to customers and one of the reasons we keep coming back. 5 stars for Susie and the food! Music was lovely too.

Visited the restaurant today and was not disappointed. The food was great, and the staff were very attentive, and the hygiene top-notch. As soon as a table was left, the staff were there straight away to clean it

To start the place is almost spotless and they have lots of both indoor and outdoor space. As for the food the fish is beautifully flakey, the mushy peas are perfect, the curry sauce is pleasant and the chips are nothing special. Over all it's good and I would come here again
